Magical blue, pink, and purple hydrangeas combine with daisies, heliopsis, Russian sage, ascleplias, crocosimia, feverfew, roses, delphinium, pin cushion flower, zinnias, Japanese anemone, Culver’s root, coreopsis, nicotinia, verbena, Maltese cross, mountain mint, liatris, native bee balm, echinacea, lilies and so much more. Many of the annual seedlings I started indoors in March, along with potting up dahlias for an early start and transferred outside, are blooming. I love introducing new, unusual, and good cut flower annuals each year. Annuals include Sultan’s basket, salvia, celosia, zinnias, cosmos, nasturtium, and so much more. Look at these gorgeous and fun variations on pink in bud vases that brightened a Sweet 16 birthday party, and low centerpieces for a 50th birthday where cherished friends each went home with the gift of flowers.
