Magical fragrant peonies, foxglove, columbine, baptisia, nepeta, iris, salvia are blooming in early June, followed by fragrant lilies, astilbe, monarda, delphinium, coreopsis, allium, yarrow, echinacea/coneflower and the start of the hydrangeas. Nicotinia, snapdragons, feverfew, rose campion, royal larkspur, monarda, astilbe, candytuff are all blooming. I just added 18 rose varieties. Scientist have found fossils of rose plants dating back 35 million years!
